School Staff Vacancies
A Journey to Excellence
At Audley Primary School every child matters. This means that the school wants all the children to feel safe, be healthy and enjoy their learning. Children are offered choices that help them become independent, life-long learners and take responsibility for their own actions and behaviour.
The school cares for each child in the best possible way. It tries to bring out and encourage children to use their abilities to the full. Children take part and learn through exciting, organised, challenging and fun activities. The school helps in all ways of children’s learning and development – both educational and social. It provides a good start in life for skills and experiences so that children can grow up as confident individuals, successful learners and responsible citizens.
Parents are the children’s first teachers and the school hopes to make good use of their skills and talents. The school lets parents take part in activities that involves them in their education and learning.
Staff and governors bring with them many different types of skills, experiences and interests. The school aims to use these to encourage children to want to learn and achieve. The education provided allows children to have a better understanding of different communities and respect for each other and our world.

Here is a message from our governors regarding their role at Audley:
“……….Audley School Governors help to ensure that Audley Primary has a clear strategic direction, monitoring educational performance, resources, finance and safeguarding, all with the aim to achieve the best outcomes for all pupils.
While not a visible part of the school day to day, governors are closely engaged with School life throughout the year; attending inset days and training with staff, attending key events, meeting with subject-lead teachers, checking in with the School Business Manager regularly, meeting families at parents evening – and much more. For example during 2020/2021 we will be engaging with pupils, staff and parents to hear their views on lessons and learning to evaluate the recovery curriculum.
Many of the governors have children who are currently at or have been to Audley or other schools; they bring valuable insights from their roles in the community and skills and experience they have developed in their working lives. We work together as a team to complement and enhance the leadership at Audley acting as a ‘critical friend’ in supporting, and challenging, the headteacher. Governors also play a key role in recruiting staff.
If you wish to contact the governors to discuss any matter, please do so by first contacting the school office………..” Co Chairs: Mrs K Clayton and Mrs B Santhosh
