You are most welcome to bring your child along if you would like to.

If you also have younger children, prams or pushchairs will be left in the library while your infant remains in your care.

If you are unable to attend this tour, we would be grateful if you could please advise us as soon as possible so that we can make the place available to someone else and re-book you to another tour if necessary.

In the meantime, the pupils and staff have created a video to allow you to take a glimpse of what school life is like at Audley. We hope you enjoy it!

A message from our Chair of Governors:

“....Audley School Governors oversee Audley’s strategic direction and vision.  The key responsibilities within this include financial oversight of the school’s budget, monitoring Audley’s academic performance and attendance, reviewing and approving school policies, monitoring safeguarding and ensuring the school provides a safe and welcoming environment for all pupils.

The Governing body is made up of a mix of parent governors, staff governors, co-opted governors and one local authority governor.  We all meet formally once every half term and in addition regularly attend school events, including prize giving and inset training days.  Each Governor is paired up with a staff subject lead and there are regular meetings to discuss the subjects, including meeting pupils across all year groups to gain their valuable insight.

The governing body work collectively as a team, bringing various skills from their roles in the community and professional lives to benefit the school.  We are aligned in our decision making and act as a "critical friend" to the headteacher and senior leaders, providing both support and constructive challenge.

If you would like to contact the governors to discuss any matter, please do so by first contacting the school office.”

Chair: Mrs S Penlington

I hope the information helps you in making your decision and look forward to meeting you soon.

Kind regards,

Mrs M Rebello

Headteacher
