A message from our Chair of Governors:

“……….Audley School Governors help to ensure that Audley Primary has a clear strategic direction, monitoring educational performance, resources, finance and safeguarding, all with the aim to achieve the best outcomes for all pupils.

While not a visible part of the school day to day, governors are closely engaged with School life throughout the year; attending inset days and training with staff, attending key events, meeting with subject-lead teachers, checking in with the School Business Manager regularly, meeting families at parents evening – and much more.  For example during 2022/23 we we worked with school leader in evaluating curriculum quality and enabled the purchasing of new interactive whiteboards in KS2

Many of the governors have children who are currently at or have been to Audley or other schools; they bring valuable insights from their roles in the community and skills and experience they have developed in their working lives. We work together as a team to complement and enhance the leadership at Audley acting as a ‘critical friend’ in supporting, and challenging, the headteacher.  Governors also play a key role in recruiting staff.

If you wish to contact the governors to discuss any matter, please do so by first contacting the school office………..”

 Chair: Miss C Huggett

I hope the information helps you in making your decision and look forward to meeting you soon.

Kind regards,

Mrs M Rebello

Headteacher
