Parent View and Parent Voice
At Audley Primary School we strongly believe in listening to all our stakeholders. Parents are a crucial part of a child’s education and the wider success of our school. There are a number of ways to let us know your thoughts about our school:
Daily Contact
At the end of the day is a good opportunity to quickly mention something to the class teacher related to your child. Please try to avoid doing this first thing in the morning as the teacher’s priority is to settle and register their class.
Make an appointment
Sometimes you may wish to discuss an issue in more depth and we would ask you to either talk directly to your child’s class teacher to arrange an appointment or contact the school office who will be more than happy to arrange a suitable time to come in.
Parent Voice
We hold a termly Parents’ Evening. Dates for these can be found on the Calendar page.
Annual Parent Surveys
We carry out annual general surveys to gauge parental opinion on the broader aspects of our school and assimilate these views in to our school development plan. Please see the results of the most recent survey below.
Parents, Carers, Visitors Code of Conduct on School Premises
The vast majority of our parents and carers are keen to work with us and are supportive of the school's work. If a parent or carer has concerns we will always listen and seek to address them.
We expect all members of our school community to behave in a reasonable way but sadly, there are occasions when behaviour by parents, carers and visitors to the school is considered unacceptable. This policy outlines the steps that will be taken in those circumstances.
Parent View
Ofsted have their own communication tool which allows parents to record their views about a school. We encourage parents to use this facility to record their views. Please find a link to this website below:
